These are the rules for using Mull. They are short on purpose.
What Mull is
Mull is a shared record of who paid for what and who owes whom. It is not a payment service, a bank or a wallet. It never holds, moves or receives money. When you pay someone through Mull, it opens your own UPI app with the details filled in, and the payment happens there, between you, your bank and theirs.
That means Mull cannot reverse, refund or chase a payment, and it is not responsible for one that goes wrong. Always check the name your UPI app shows before you pay.
Using Mull
- You need to be 18 or older, or have your parent's or guardian's permission.
- Keep your email address yours and your sign-in codes to yourself.
- Only enter a UPI ID that is your own. People will pay whatever UPI ID is on your profile.
- Enter amounts honestly, and only add people who are happy to be added.
- Do not use Mull to harass anyone, to send spam, or for anything illegal, and do not try to get at data that is not yours.
If someone breaks these rules, report them from Friends, and block them if you want them to stop reaching you. We read every report, and we may suspend accounts that are reported for abuse.
Your data
What you put in Mull is yours. You let us store it and show it to the people you share it with, only so Mull can work. How we handle it is in the privacy policy.
Records and disagreements
Mull shows what the people in a group have entered and confirmed. It is a helpful record, not proof of a debt, and not financial, legal or tax advice. If you disagree with someone about money, that is between you and them.
If things go wrong
We work hard to keep Mull running and your data safe, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses from payments made outside Mull. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Ending things
You can stop using Mull and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and will tell you why when we can.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app first. Carrying on using Mull after that means you accept the new terms.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi have jurisdiction.
